Cougar Radio Announces Award Winners
At the football banquet on January 23rd Cougar Radio had the priveledge to announces it 2009 Award winners.
First up was our Play of the year award that was sponsored by Batson Chiropractic. Taking the award this year was Josh Lumpkin and his fake punt against McGavock. The play was decided on by voters here at the website and was presented by our Play by Play man Garland Mahan.
(Sorry for the blurry photo but Garland was a little excited and would not stop moving.)
Congratulations to Josh.
Then our final award was the Stansell Electric Player of the Year. Presenting the award was our Color Commentator Tom Jones. Winning the award was Stephon Dawson whose season at the fullback position meritted the award.
(This photo was better because Tom is a bit calmer than our Play by Play guy.)
Congratulations to Stephon on an outstanding season.
